If you’re looking for some summertime beach fun in the mountains this weekend, you’re in luck! The City of Cornelia will host it’s first Beach Bash at the Splash Park by the Historic Train Depot on Saturday, July 9th from 1- 4 p.m.
Bring your kids and come enjoy an afternoon in the water along with beach balls, summer oldies, sweet treats and more! Oh, and don’t forget your beach chair and sunscreen.
Clarkesville Street and Depot parking lot closed to cars during event
Clarkesville Street will be closed from Stovall to North Main in Downtown Cornelia for the Beach Bash. Organizers ask drivers to please use North Main Street as an alternate route. Also, the Depot parking lot will be closed from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please use other parking lots to attend event.
