Cornelia has lifted its boil water advisory for city water customers on Irvin Street from Wayside to Level Grove Road.Cornelia Public Works Director Keith Etheridge says water samples sent to the EPD tested negative for bacteria.
The advisory was issued on Friday, May 13 after a contractor installing a new water main on Irvin Street hit the existing main while boring under the road.
