A convicted felon from White County is in jail on multiple drug and firearms charges. 29-year old Jeread David Grizzle was arrested Tuesday after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence at 274 Tulip Trail in Cleveland.
Agents confiscated approximately 24 grams of suspected methamphetamine packaged for distribution, 3 grams of suspected marijuana and a revolver, according to the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO).
Grizzle’s arrest follows a two-month long investigation. He was arrested during a joint operation by ARDEO, the Georgia Department of Community Supervision and White County Sheriff’s Office.
Grizzle is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The estimated street value of the drugs is $2600.00.

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office is a multi-agency unit that consists of the following Sheriff’s Offices: White County, Lumpkin County, Towns County, Banks County, Habersham County, Stephens County, and Rabun County, along with the Georgia National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, the Department of Public Safety, the Cleveland Police Department, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
