A 68-year old Clarkesville man has been sentenced to life in prison plus 25 years after being convicted of multiple child sex crimes.
Habersham County Superior Court Judge Chan Caudell today handed down sentencing for David Michael Dixon.

Last Friday, a jury found Dixon guilty of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, two counts of child molestation, and sexual battery against a child under 16.
He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the aggravated sex crimes. Dixon also received 20 years for molestation – to be served consecutively -and 5 years for sexual battery against a child under 16.
