Habersham County gave a community send-off to long-time United Way Executive Director Bonnie Loffredo. A drop-in reception was held in her honor Thursday, November 20, at Oliver & Weidner law offices in Clarkesville.
Loffredo worked for the local United Way for 17 years. She served the past 14 years as Executive Director. During that time, the Habersham County United Way annually increased its fundraising goals and met or exceeded its goals.
Loffredo officially retired from the job on November 6. She is succeeded by former Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia director Billy Boyd.
