Collins urges open dialogue on police relations

Georgia’s 9th District Congressman Doug Collins is lending his voice to the national discussion on race relations and policing.The Republican from Hall County appeared on CNN Friday to speak about the situation in Charlotte, NC.

Collins is a member of the bipartisan Policing Strategies Working Group, which was formed to discuss strategies to combat police aggression and violence against police. The group has held several meetings in Washington D.C. They recently travelled to Detroit to meet with local law enforcement and community leaders there.
