Cold continues this week

Our next threat of any winter weather is at least 7-10 days away, but the cold isn’t going anywhere.

Monday we’ll see a nice recovery into the mid/upper-40s for most of the area. This should help make a dent in roads that remain icy. Spots that don’t receive much sunlight will still struggle to fully melt and dry, especially with relative humidity levels remaining over 60% for most of the day. We will also start Monday off cloudy with gradually clearing skies through the afternoon. A cold front will move through Monday evening.

This front will bring a reinforcement of cold air to the region that will hold highs back to only the low/mid-40s both Tuesday and Wednesday and drop our overnights back into the low-20s.

Our next rain chance will come Friday night into Saturday with highs on Friday reaching the 50s for the first time in over a week.

Have a great week and stay warm!
