Northeast Georgia drug agents recently arrested three people on meth trafficking charges following investigations in Hall and White counties.

On February 17, officers arrested Mary Pamela Clay, 60, of Cleveland. In addition to trafficking, officers charged Clay with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office led the two-month-long investigation into Clay’s alleged drug dealing. Cleveland Police assisted, along with the sheriff’s offices in White and Lumpkin counties. During their investigation, officers reportedly seized approximately 2.5 ounces of meth, 1.5 ounces of marijuana, and over $3,100 in cash.

A separate four-month investigation in Hall County led to several other area drug arrests.

On February 23, ARDEO agents executed a search warrant at 7058 Britt Gailey Road in Clermont. During the search, ARDEO Special Agent in Charge Trent Hillsman says law enforcement seized approximately three pounds of methamphetamine and nine firearms. The meth had an estimated street value of $21,000.

Agents arrested three people.

Stacey Callaway Oliver, 41, of Clermont, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Rosa Estrada, 34, of Gainesville, was also charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

“During the investigation, it was determined that this drug organization was supplying illegal drugs to a large area in Northeast Georgia,” says Hillsman, referring to the Hall County suspects.

Agents also charged Wesley Oliver, 55, of Clermont, with possession of methamphetamine.

According to Hillsman, both investigations are active and ongoing. He adds more arrests are expected in connection with the Hall County case.
