A Cleveland teenager is charged with trafficking heroin after being arrested at a local convenience store.
19-year-old Ronald Sammy Loggins Jr. was taken into custody by Habersham County authorities Wednesday at the Circle K store in Alto. A bag containing 5 grams of heroin was found in his pants pocket, according to a news release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO).
The estimated street value of the heroin is $1,000.
ARDEO says Loggins’ arrest followed a lengthy surveillance. He was also wanted on outstanding warrants in Hall and White Counties.
Loggins was transported to the Habersham County Detention Center.
His arrest came the same day a Demorest woman and Cornelia man were arrested at the Circle K convenience store in Hollywood on meth trafficking charges. Jennifer Bone and Ronald Jones are charged in connection with an alleged trafficking ring based in Duluth.
