Habersham County Emergency Services transported a Cleveland man to the hospital following a two-car crash Tuesday on GA 365 in Mt. Airy.
The wreck happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of GA 365 and Hazel Creek Road. 17-year-old Anette Mier Briceno of Clarksville was driving a Hynudai Sonata in the southbound turn lane. She attempted to turn left onto Hazel Creek Road and pulled into the path of a northbound Honda Accord, the Georgia State Patrol says.
Both vehicles traveled down an embankment off the north side of the highway.
The crash injured 28-year-old Anthony Shows of Cleveland. Habersham EMS transported him to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville with minor injuries.
Troopers cited Shows for not wearing a seatbelt and cited Briceno for failure to yield.
