Cleveland business suffers fire damage

Corner Grill, Cleveland, GA. (WRWH)

No injures were reported resulting from a fire that damaged a local business Wednesday afternoon.

This afternoon White County firefighters, with Automatic Aid from the City of Cleveland, responded to The Corner Grill restaurant just south of Cleveland on Highway 129 South for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival, light smoke was showing from the north side of the structure. Firefighters made access into the building and quickly extinguished the fire. Fire Investigators Lt. Jason Reed and Lt. Jason Davis determined that the cause of the fire was the result of an overloaded electrical outlet.

The structure suffered moderate damage, however no injuries were reported.
