(Cleveland)- Cleveland area business owners are being urged to check their business security, following a burglary and the theft of some tools from a work site in Cleveland. Police Chief John Foster advised that the burglary was at the White County Farmers Exchange and the theft of some tools at a construction site next to Walmart.
Foster said both occurred late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Not a lot of details are being released at this time, Chief Foster said they are continuing to investigate. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested to assist with the incident at the Farmers Exchange.
Foster advised all business to make sure all doors and windows are secured and provide plenty of light inside the business as well as outside. Anyone who might have seen something at either of these location late Tuesday or early Wednesday is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department.
