Claude “Tommy” Salmon, age 73, of Cleveland, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 3, 2020.
Mr. Salmon was born on April 7, 1947, in Collierville, Tennessee to the late Claude Salmon, Sr. and Ruby Walker Salmon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 39 years, Patsy Wade Salmon. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving his country honorably. He was a very successful real estate agent with Crye-Leike Reality for 8 years. Prior to his real estate career, he served as the Vice President of Sales for several automotive parts companies for many years. He was an avid golfer and a UT Vols fan. Tommy was a true man of God. He faithfully served at his church, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Olive Branch, Mississippi, for many years. His service included serving as an elder, bible study teacher, Finance Chairman, and serving as the President of the Board. Tommy was currently a member of Clarkesville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 4 years, Nancy Floyd Salmon, of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Claude Salmon, III, and Sharon, of Acworth; daughter and son-in-law, Dana Gail Delmastro and Mike, of Kennesaw; step-daughter and her spouse, Rachel Fox and Eddy, of Roswell; grandchildren, Kelsey, Lauren, Justin, Reagan, Ryan, Alyssa, Reese, Lizzie, Tessa, and Wade; brother, Hurley Lawrence; sisters, Karen Lawrence, Sandra Morgan, and Peggy Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
