Clarkesville School of Dance, under the direction of Francie Keene, is excited to offer a series of engaging summer camps for young dancers and performers in June 2025. Located at 1955 Hollywood Highway in Clarkesville, GA, the studio provides a nurturing environment for children to explore the arts.
There is not a requirement to wear traditional dance clothing or have tap or ballet shoes. If you have them, wear them. If not, comfortable clothing (shorts and t’shirt) are appropriate with tennis shoes.
Summer Dance Camps
From Monday through Friday, June 2–6 and June 9–13, the studio will host two distinct dance camps tailored to different age groups:
Early Childhood Dance Camp: Designed for ages 3–5, this camp runs from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and focuses on coordination skills, ballet, and acro.
Summer Sampler Dance Camp: Aimed at ages 6–10, also from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., this camp offers a mix of ballet, tap, jazz, and acro styles.
Each week-long camp is priced at $125.
Musical Theatre Camps
In partnership with Habersham Community Theater, Clarkesville School of Dance will offer musical theatre camps during the same weeks:
Primary Musical Theatre Camp: For ages 6–9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Musical Theatre Camp: For ages 10–13, also from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
These camps focus on singing, dancing, and acting, culminating in a performance at the end of the week. The cost for each musical theatre camp is $225.
