Old Clarkesville Mill burglary suspects arrested

Clarkesville Police arrested two suspects in a recent burglary at Old Clarkesville Mill.

On March 6th the Clarkesville Police Department obtained search warrants for property associated with Shanon Tenille Nealy and Phillip Reid Alexander. As a result of that search, a quantity of stolen items were recovered, CPD says.

The department posted the update along with mug shots of the suspects on its Facebook page.

The arrests came just a little over a week after police shared surveillance photos of two people entering the Old Clarkesville Mill on the night it was burglarized. An older model four door Audi with a sunroof was easily identifiable in the photos.

The burglary took place late on the night of Thursday, February 23, into the morning of February 24.

Clarkesville Police Capt. Danny Clouatre says the suspects stole “antique type items.”
