Habersham County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Clarkesville man Friday and charged him with child molestation.
54-year-old Keith Bernad Jones is accused of molesting a girl last summer. A complainant reported the alleged incident to the sheriff’s office on December 7, 2020.
According to the incident report, the girl was spending the night at someone’s home when that person’s boyfriend, identified as Jones, walked into the room where she was sleeping and allegedly wiped his hand across the girl’s crotch.
Jones was taken into custody on April 16 and booked into the Habersham County jail. He remained in jail as of Monday, April 19, on an $11,100 bond.
