The late, legendary film actress Janet Leigh will grace the silver screen in Habersham County once again during the Halloween night showing of Psycho.
The Habersham Community Theater and Clarkesville Main Street are teaming up to give you a reason to scream this Halloween. They’ll be showing the classic Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho on Saturday, October 31 starting at 8pm.
Psycho is the first in the “slasher film” genre. It tells the story of a bored secretary who embezzles money from her boss then escapes town only to end up at the Bates Motel. You can imagine what happens next!
The film’s lead actress, Janet Leigh who passed away in 2004, was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress and received an Academy Award nomination for the 1960 film.
Psycho will appear on the big screen at HCT’s historic theater at 1370 Washington Street in downtown Clarkesville. Beer, wine and classic movie snacks will be available for purchase.
