Residents of Clarkesville are invited to join Clarkesville City Manager Barbara Kesler for an informal conversation on Wednesday, April 1st at the Clarkesville Greenways trail, adjacent to the Old Clarkesville Mill.
“Wednesday Walks with Barbara” is a casual come-and-go monthly gathering for residents to ask questions of the City Manager, provide input and ideas and to just get to know each other. The Walks are scheduled for the first Wednesday each month. The venue for the meetings will be the Clarkesville Greenways trail. In the event of inclement weather, the walks will take place at the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center.
“Every voice counts,” said Kesler. “I realized that too often my job duties keep me in my office at City Hall and that I needed to create an opportunity outside of the office for informal and open communication where the citizens and I can get acquainted. These informal meetings are part of a continuing effort to reach out and listen to residents’ concerns and suggestions. Working together is an important part of improving our community.”
“Wednesday Walks with Barbara” do not require an appointment; however individual meetings may be scheduled by calling 706-754-4216.
