The Clarkesville City Council has canceled it’s scheduled work session for Thursday, December 17. The meeting was to have been the council’s first since the shooting death of Mayor Terry Greene on Sunday.
City officials released a statement earlier this week expressing their devastation over “…the tragic loss of our mayor, colleague and friend Dr. Terry Greene.” The City has not yet announced its plans for filling the deceased mayor’s council seat.
