The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office is helping families get ready for school. The agency will offer complimentary haircuts and braiding services to help students put their best food forward this coming school year.
The Free Haircuts for Kids event takes place this Saturday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office Training Center. Professional hair stylists and barbers from local salons and a cosmetology school are volunteering their time and services.
This event is open to all school-aged children who live in Clarke County. Parents and guardians are encouraged to call 762-400-8106 to reserve a spot.
The Training Center is located at 2900 County Farm Road in Athens.
