Citizen’s Complaints Lead to Marijuana Arrest

A Habersham County man has been arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana. Local law enforcement, along with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), arrested 46-year old David Goralczyk at his residence at 360 Canterberry Trail on September 23.

According to an ARDEO press release, officers went to search Goralczyk’s property after receiving several complaints from citizens. “ARDEO Agents went to the residence and saw numerous marijuana plants growing around Goralczyk’s residence. ARDEO Agents also located marijuana inside Goralczyk’s residence,” the release states.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $13,500.

Goralczyk was arrested for manufacturing marijuana and transported to the Habersham County Detention Center.
