And the winners are…
The annual Habersham County Christmas Parade made its way down Main Street in Cornelia Saturday. This year’s parade theme was “A Country Christmas.” Jessie Owensby, Community Development Manager for the City of Cornelia, planned the parade.

The entries were judged and so were the decorations at businesses that participated in the city’s “Bedeck Your Storefront” competition. During festivities at the Cornelia Depot after the parade Owensby announced the following winners:
Float Awards
First Place – City of Cornelia
Second Place – Springer Mountain Farms
Third Place – Billy Cain Ford
“Bedeck Your Storefront” Downtown Cornelia
First Place – Natalie Jane’s Restaurant
Second Place – Higgins Construction
