Cornelia will flip the switch next week on its free, annual Christmas lights display. Christmas in the Park opens Thanksgiving night, Nov. 23, and will run through the first of the year.

The light display hours are 5 p.m. to midnight nightly, says Cornelia Main Street Manager Noah Hamil.

Visitors to the park can also enjoy an evening of late-night shopping, entertainment, and fun during Christmas in Cornelia, an event you will not want to miss! This festival of fun is set for Saturday, December 9, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be something for everyone to put even the most Scrooge-like of all in the spirit of Christmas.

Cornelia will light up its city park with thousands of Christmas lights again this year. The drive-through display is free and open to the public nightly from Thanksgiving through the first of next year. (Joy Purcell/NowHabersham.com)
