It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Habersham County Fairgrounds near Clarkesville.
On Friday, the Habersham County Senior Center hosted its annual Christmas Bazaar in its new location at the fairgrounds’ Dewey Tench Pavilion. More than 100 vendors are participating in the indoor event. They’re selling handmade crafts, food, jewelry, home decor, jams and jellies, decorations, and more.
Booth rental fees support activities at the Senior Center in Demorest.
If you missed the Bazaar on Friday, you can still enjoy this festive holiday happening. The Christmas Bazaar will be open again from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Biggest one yet
Kinsley Fowler, activity coordinator for the Habersham County Senior Center, says the event is the biggest and best one yet.
“I’m excited to see the community during this event,” Fowler says. “The weather has cooled off, so bring your coats and come see us to pick up all your Christmas gifts this year. Also, remember to bring your phone for photos with Santa.”
The Habersham County Fairgrounds is located at 4235 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville.
Money raised from vendor fees supports the programs of the Habersham County Senior Center.
