Chestatee High School has resumed a normal schedule after being placed on lockdown briefly Monday afternoon.
In a statement, school administrators say on September 9, at approximately 12:40 p.m., the school was placed on an “interior lockdown” due to a student’s medical emergency.
The emergency was “outside a classroom,” warranting hallways to be kept clear by minimizing movement in that building.
The lockdown ended at 1:10 p.m., and normal class schedules resumed.
