Like the changing leaves, the arrival of the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair marks the beginning of fall in Northeast Georgia. It has been an annual tradition for almost fifty years, welcoming thousands to the Blue Ridge foothills for traditional homespun family fun.

The fair opened Friday at the Habersham County Fairgrounds in Clarkesville. It continues through Friday, September 14. Chattahoochee Mountain Fair General Manager Shelley Tullis excitedly shares this year promises to be the best one yet.

“The Amazing Royal Circus is new to the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair. You will see motorcycles inside the legendary globe of death, death-defying feats on the high wire 30 feet above the ground, the Dominguez Poodles (from America’s Got Talent), and so much more.”
