Chattahoochee Golf Club (CGC) is preparing for another round of closures as cold temperatures, rain, and potential snow move into Gainesville-Hall County.
In anticipation of freezing conditions, staff will begin covering the greens at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 18, as the closure remains in effect until further notice.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Peachtree City, widespread frost and sub-freezing temperatures are expected early this week.
NWS forecasts that rain showers on Tuesday may transition into snow showers by Wednesday morning and evening. Temperatures are expected to remain cold until later in the week.
While the golf course will be closed, the driving range will remain open for use. Chattahoochee Grill also will continue to serve lunch and dinner daily throughout the weather event.
