Charles Ralph “Charlie” Walker, Jr., age 72 of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 25, 1947, he was a son of the late Charles Ralph, Sr. & Louise Duncan Walker. Charlie served as the Director for the House Budget Office of the Georgia General Assembly for many years before retiring to the mountains of North Georgia. He enjoyed gardening and music. Charlie was a member of the Clarkesville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Mary L. Walker of Clarkesville, GA; son, Chad Walker & wife, Lorrie of North Bend, WA; daughter, Christie Violet Sarver & husband, Larry of Clayton, GA; sister, Carol W. Stephens & husband, Gene of Stone Mountain, GA; nephew, Brian, his wife, Amy, & their daughter, Brynne Stephens all of Winder, GA; other relatives & friends.
Celebration of Life services will be announced later.
