A Gainesville man is charged in connection with a rollover wreck on Duncan Bridge Road Wednesday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, 29-year old Scotty Grant Grindle was traveling west on Duncan Bridge/GA 384 when he ran off the road while rounding a curve. He lost control of his vehicle as it slid down an embankment. The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant he was driving hit a culvert, skidded across Copperhead Road and overturned.
There were two passengers in the car at the time of the accident. 32-year old Christy Ann Oliver of Cleveland was not injured. 43-year old Chad Colin of Alto sustained a “non incapacitating” injury. He was not transported to the hospital.
Grindle is charged with failure to maintain lane, driving while unlicensed, expired tag and no proof of insurance.
