Cecile H. London

Cecile H. London, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015, at her residence.
Born in Hall County on December 26, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Curtis Hulsey Head. Mrs. London was a retired LPN with Habersham Medical Center and also for Habersham Home where she worked for a total of 29 years. She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and she enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening. Mrs. London was an avid Atlanta Braves fan having been named the Braves Fan of the Year in 1986.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Barrett London; son, Joseph David London; grandson, Joshua Barrett London; sisters, Winnell Seabolt, Gladys Baugh, and Cathy Campbell; brother-in-law, Carl London; sister-in-law, Alora Montgomery.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Bo & Millie London of Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Annette & Eddie Jennings of Jefferson and Angie & Keith Elrod and Andrea & Carl Robinson all of Cleveland; brothers, Jerry Head of Skitts Mtn and Forrest Head of Dahlonega; brothers-in-law, Rev. Verner London, Maylon London, Lamar London, and Doug London all of Cleveland, Charlie London of the Fairview Community; sisters-in-law, Eulene Murphy and Imogene Kimbrell both of the Pea Ridge Community; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; also beloved poodle and caregiver, Harley.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at New Bridge Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. W. A. “Dub” Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Darin Cain officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
