Carolyn Ann Nations Dodd, age 68 of Alto, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Born in Clarkesville on December 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Andrew and Ruth Fitzgerald Nations. Mrs. Dodd was a hard worker who was employed for many years in the poultry industry along with other jobs she held at various times. She was a homebody who enjoyed word puzzles and scary movies. She also enjoyed the outdoors, flowers, birdwatching, and shopping at Goodwill.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dodd was also preceded in death by her husband, David Harold Dodd; sisters, Susie Ann Frady and Judy L. Tyler; brother, David B. Nations.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Carolyn Nations of Alto (fiancé, Richard Wade); son and daughter-in-law, Bruce E. Nations (Kelly) of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Laurie Faye Nations, Gelina Faith Nations, Austin Levi Smith, and Andrew Jacob Nations; great-grandchildren, Icy Dantzler, Elijah Lakey, Ziannah G. Rush, Travis Willie Rush, III, and Braelynn Faith Nations; sister and brother-in-law, Marolyn Sue Sims (Garry) of Toccoa; special friend, Randy Holland Beasley; numerous other relatives and friends.
