TFS track & field squads competed in the Battle of the Blue Ridge at Habersham Central on Friday afternoon. The Lady Indians placed fourth in the event, while the boys came in seventh.
Caroline Ball highlighted the success, as she won the 800 and was runner-up in the 1600. The girls’ 800 meter relay team set a new school record. Injuries and prevention of injuries kept many of the boys from competing. Several TFS athletes placed in the top-five of their events.
Still others set new personal bests, including Nelson Wilkinson and Sam Ketch in their throwing events. KC Respress also had 3 PRs in the meet.
