(Cleveland)- Caring Hands Ministries, Cleveland, will offer help with rent, utilities, and similar needs March 18th, 19th, and 20th. People who have a verifiable need should contact Caring Hands by phone at 706-219-1980. People who need help must call, not just walk in.
Caring Hands is an all volunteer ministry and volunteers are available to provide help by appointment only.
Caring Hands Ministries President Charles Fleming says assistance is based on severity of need and availability of funds. Someone with an eviction notice or shut off notice or whose prepaid power is about to be exhausted would be a priority Fleming said.
Funds for this assistance come from local business sponsorships, individuals and churches, a grant from American Helping Americans and funding from White County United Way.
Caring Hands Ministries serves people in the Northeast Georgia counties of Dawson, Habersham, Hall, Lumpkin, and White and a portion of Banks County,
