Much needed calm week ahead

A much needed quiet week is expected across North Georgia.

As our neighbors in North and South Carolina continue to deal with the effects of Hurricane Helene, I just want to send my heartfelt thoughts out to everyone affected. Fortunately, the week ahead promises dry, calm weather for most of the affected areas.

We’ll start off partly cloudy on Monday with a very low chance of an isolated shower as the upper low/Helene remnants continue to decay across the Mississippi River Valley.

From Tuesday onward things will be absolutely gorgeous to kick off October. Highs will run in the upper-70s/low-80s each day with plentiful sunshine.

Everyone have a great week!
