Winder-Barrow blocked a kick in the final seconds of the game Friday night and with it, Habersham Central’s hopes for a win.
The Raiders came close to tying the game with just under a minute to play, but a blocked field goal ended their 4th quarter run.
The Bulldogs defeated the Raiders at home, 41-40.
It was Central’s last home game of the season and fourth straight region loss.
The Raiders are now 3-6 overall, 0-4 in the region. They travel to Apalachee next Friday, November 8 for their last game of the regular season.
