On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs took home their first win of the 2024 season, defeating the Clemson Tigers in the Aflac Kickoff Game. The game was played in front of a sold-out crowd at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs (1-0) opened the game with a strong start and led 20-3 in the fourth quarter. UGA QB Carson Beck hit sophomore wide receiver London Humphreys for a 40-yard touchdown, lifting fans to their feet and blowing the game open with 9:57 remaining to play.

The Tigers tried to get back in the game with time ticking down, but Georgia Defensive Back Malaki Starks turned it around. With 9:26 left in the game, Starks made a leaping, contorting interception similar to the one he made against Oregon in 2022.
