Brenda Rich Meister, age 72 of Toccoa, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020.
Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on January 23, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Herbert & Kathleen Morris Rich. Brenda worked with Baldwin Garment for many years & later retired from Piedmont Automotive Products, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoyed word puzzles, flower gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Brenda was a member of The Torch Worship Center in Demorest.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, John Landon Meister; and by her brother, Melvin Rich.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 1/2 years, David R. Meister of Toccoa, GA; sons & daughters-in-law, John & Tonya Meister, Jason & Amanda Meister all of Clarkesville, GA; daughter & her companion, Joni Foster & John Badeaux of Toccoa, GA; brother, Dwayne Rich of Clarkesville, GA; sisters, Anne Alexander of Clarkesville, Ga & Shirley Weston of Cornelia, GA; grandchildren, Lauren Meister, Cody Meister, Jordan Foster, Charlie Foster, Logan Foster, Alexis Cannon, Braydon Meister, Brett Cantrell, & Arabella Psalm Meister; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating at the graveside.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
