Traffic is flowing again on GA 365 near Baldwin after an accident at Duncan Bridge Road. The wreck Monday evening temporarily shut down the north and southbound lanes.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. The wreck was initially reported as a two-vehicle accident involving an overturned pickup truck.
Witnesses reported seeing an AirLife helicopter and multiple ambulances leaving the scene, although authorities have not confirmed that.
The highway was closed for over two hours as crews cleared the wreckage and Georgia State Patrol troopers investigated.
Now Habersham has contacted the State Patrol and Habersham County Sheriff’s Office for information and will update this article when details are released.
