A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for some water customers in Mt. Airy. The advisory was issued this morning as a precaution after a water line break that occurred Tuesday night.
Mt. Airy residents who experienced water outages and/or low water pressures are advised to boil all water prior to use for drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food. Water should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice.
