Baldwin Boil Water Advisory lifted

Baldwin has discontinued both boil water advisories that were issued for city water customers in Banks County after a water main break over the weekend. The advisories were issued as a precaution against possible contamination.

Public Works Director Scott Barnhart says water samples tested negative for harmful bacteria. Baldwin water customers in the following areas may resume normal water use: Crumbly Drive, Old 441 south of Harmony Church Road, Moss Mill Road, Ridge Circle, Rock Springs Road, Soapstone Road, Stonepile Street, Sunrise Ridge, and Wynn Lake Road.

“The City of Baldwin Water Department would like to thank you for your help in this event and apologize for any inconvenience,” says Barnhart.
