Demorest has issued a Boil Water Advisory for some of its city water customers.
The advisory is in effect from the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Old Athens Highway south to the intersection of Old Athens Highway and Level Grove Road.
Affected customers should boil their water at a rolling boil for at least two minutes before drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food with it.
The advisory is in effect until further notice.
