White County to upgrade its security camera system

(Cleveland) – White County Commissioners Monday night approved a contract that will consolidate and improve a variety of security camera systems at eight different locations in the county.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) invites Northeast Georgia Area project leaders, shoebox packers, pastors, and volunteers to participate in the Project Leader Training on September 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. The training will take place at the Bethlehem Baptist Church at 624 Hwy 197N in Clarkesville, Georgia.

Workshop Registration is requested and can be accessed here. The first twenty-five people to register will receive two cartons (24) of plastic GO Boxes.

During the workshop, information will be provided about the resources available to support individual church’s packing efforts, ways to mobilize the church’s participation, and ways to provide additional support to OCC.

This is an in-person event, but social distancing guidelines will be maintained to protect everyone’s safety. If for any reason it is deemed unwise to host an in-person event, OCC will contact all registered participants the day before the workshop (September 11, 2020) with an alternate plan for a virtual workshop.
