BLITZ, a local prep sports channel in Northeast Georgia, will induct its Inaugural Hall of Fame class, giving fans the chance to vote on the nominees.
The nominees listed below are up for your vote. To vote, you can go to @BlitzSportsGA on Twitter and cast your vote in the next 24 hours, or on Facebook comment on the Hall of Fame post with your top one or two picks per induction category.
The nominees are only those who have been covered by BLITZ since the 2009-10 school year, which was the first year of BLITZ. The sole exception is Habersham’s Tavarres King, who was covered before the show was re-created as BLITZ in 2009.
Up to two will be inducted per category this year, and others will enter the ballot for next year, including some that were not in the top four this year. Based on fan voting, either one or two will be voted in per category. The nominees include many who have just graduated as well as some from the last seven years who starred at their high school.
