The Big Red Apple Festival returns to Cornelia on Saturday, October 8th. The annual event, now in its 29th year, will run from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. It will feature arts and crafts, a car show, kids fun zone, horseshoe competition, hayride, wrestling match, cake and pie walks, food vendors and live outdoor entertainment.
Events will be spread out throughout downtown Cornelia (see map below) so be sure to bring your walking shoes!
Also new this year, the Miss Cornelia Big Red Apple Festival pageant is scheduled to take place the week prior to the festival on October 1st. The pageant is a fundraiser for the Cornelia Library.
