Beverly Armstead Hulsey, age 69, of Gillsville, entered heaven peacefully Friday, March 25, 2022, at Smokey Springs Assisted living.
Beverly was born January 19, 1953, in Buford, GA to the late J.D. & Doris Marsingill Armstead. She was a registered nurse and had worked at Lanier Park Hospital as a supervisor for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lula, and was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Hulsey; brothers, Ira Armstead & Bill Armstead; sister, Kay Orr.
Survivors include, sons, Steve (Karen) Burgess, Donny (Sharon) Hulsey, Mark (Dawn) Hulsey & Dusty (Trisha) Hulsey; daughters, Anita (Stephen) Deraney & Shelly (Todd) Upshaw; 12 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane (John) Sims; a number of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services honoring Beverly will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Johnson & Rev. Robby Williams officiating. Burial will be beside her late husband, Buddy at Westview Cemetery in Lula. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
