#3 Habersham Central 2, #2 Lee County 1
After taking a 14-5 Game 1 loss, the Raiders rebounded in a big way with a 2-1, walkoff win courtesy of a line drive to left by Spencer Frady. It forced Game 3. Habersham took a historic 7-4 win in the do-or-die to get to the Sweet 16. It’s the second consecutive year the Raiders have advanced to the Sweet 16. They travel to South Paulding next week for round two.
CLASS 3A
#13 SE Bulloch 1, #20 Dawson County 1
The Tigers held a lead in game one before dropping it 7-5 to get within elimination. Dawson rebounded with a blowout 13-1 win over SE Bulloch to even the series and force a game three.

#11 Cherokee Bluff 2, #22 Lumpkin County 0
The Indians dropped a heartbreaker to Cherokee Bluff 3-2 in the opening game, fighting hard to the final out. Bluff won 9-3 the second game to end Lumpkin’s season.

#14 Bremen 1, #19 Rabun County 0
The Wildcats made an impressive comeback in game one when they went down 6-0 after two frames, but lost 7-6 in an intense game. Chase Alonso took the hill and hurled a gem in game two, which was suspended due to weather with Rabun County winning.
CLASS 1A DII
#3 Irwin County 2, #2 Towns County 0
The Indians dropped both games on day one (playing at Habersham Central). Towns lost 13-0 and 6-5 to finish their season.
