Celebration of life services for Barbara Jo Sanders Butts, age 65, of Clarkesville will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Hills Crossing Baptist Cemetery and the family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Mrs. Butts passed away on November 20, 2015.
Born in Habersham County on March 4, 1950, Mrs. Butts was the daughter of the late Henry Edge and Christine Spivey Sanders. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butts is preceded in death by sisters Sue Blalock, Gail Langley, and Edith Sanders, and brother Donald Sanders.
Survivors include son Tyron Deal of Atlanta, sisters Arlene Tate of Clackamas, Oregon and Nell Chapman of Clarkesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
