A suspected water line leak is causing low water pressure in areas of Banks County. The Banks County Water Department says some customers have been experiencing low pressure for the past 48 hours.
Crews are still trying to isolate the leak, but the inconsistent nature of the problem has hampered their efforts.
A water department representative tells Now Habersham that some customers experience low pressure for a while, but it builds back up. She says crews have been working “around the clock” to locate and fix the leak.
It remains unclear how widespread the problem is. Now Habersham asked for a list of affected areas, but the water department has not yet responded to our request.
