It was a frightening Memorial Day Monday for one family in Banks County. Sheriff’s spokesperson Clarissa McFaddin tells Now Habersham that a 4-year-old fell into pool at a home off Highway 51 on Canters Run.
McFaddin says the child was unconscious when the call came in, “When deputies arrived, they found that the child had been revived by family members who performed CPR prior to emergency personnel arrival.”
After receiving treatment at the scene, the child was airlifted by helicopter to Egelston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta. McFaddin says the child’s condition is unknown at this time.
