It’s fall festival season in Northeast Georgia and Baldwin kicks off theirs Saturday with a 5K run followed by a day full of activities.
Registration for the second annual Runway 5K begins at 7:30 a.m. with the run starting at 8:30 a.m. along Airport Road and Runway Drive.
The festival will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. at the Baldwin Farmers Market at 110 Airport Road. There will be games, live bands, a beer garden, chilli cookoff, wiffle ball tournament, Jeep Crawl, and at 6:45 p.m. a free showing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
Baldwin will cap off the evening with a short fireworks display.
Organizers say all activities are free. Vendors will be at the festival selling food, drinks, and arts and crafts.
